In this article, you learn how to update disclosure documents that have been revised on Glide.

Locating a PDF form status

After a client answers the questions on a document and submits the form, the agent or team member can generate a PDF version of that document.

In this example, the current version of the PDF form is up to date.

  • The status shows Completed.

If the disclosure responses are revised, the status changes to reflect this update.

  • Submitted: The client makes changes and resubmits the forms.

  • Unsubmitted changes: The client edits one or more responses but does not finalize changes by resubmitting forms. Glide saves edits to a form only after the client resubmits forms.

Updating PDFs

Once the status of the Disclosure Package changes, follow these steps to ensure the most recent version of your PDF form is generated.

1. On the Glide home page, click the transaction you want to update.

2. Click Disclosures on the left menu.

Update scenarios

On the Disclosures page, you are likely to encounter one of two scenarios:

  • The client makes changes but does not resubmit the form.

  • The client makes changes and resubmits the form.

Client makes changes but does not resubmit

The status shows Unsubmitted Changes and suggests checking with the client to ensure accurate and complete changes.

This status displays when the client answers/revises at least one question but does not resubmit the form.

  • The green checkmark indicates the client answered all questions in that form.

In this scenario, the agent or team member may contact the client to ask them to finish editing and resubmit the form(s).

Alternatively, if the agent knows the forms are ready to regenerate, the agent can proactively apply the unsubmitted changes and generate an updated PDF.

To regenerate a PDF form with unsubmitted changes:

1. Go to the Request Disclosures page and click the Generate PDFs button.

2. Click OK in the confirmation popup box.

3. Glide generates the PDF form(s). The form is available for download and stored in your Glide account.

  • To prevent further changes to the document, click Lock.

  • To allow additional changes, click Unlock.

Client resubmits changes

  • The status shows Submitted.

The Needs Attention warning on the Request Disclosures page tells you updates are available but have not yet been included in the current version on the generated PDF form.

  • You can see this warning on the transaction Overview page, too.

Click the Generate PDFs button to create a new PDF that includes the most current client answers.

  • You can preview the document before generating a new PDF form (optional).

After you click the Generate PDFs button, an updated version of the form is immediately available for download and stored in your Glide account.

  • To prevent further changes to the document, click Lock.

  • To allow additional changes, click Unlock.
